The Case is where it all started for Chef Anthony Pino. This was at once the
center of the Gourmet Market, and today, it still gets most of the daytime attention.
Every day, Chef Pino creates specially selected items for inclusion in the
case. There are a few favorites, such as a mini penne pasta salad with tomato
and feta, the popular grilled salmon with homemade mango salsa, and the
enduring balsamic chicken and artichoke salad. At Lunchtime, Chef puts out sandwiches for a quick gourmet treat to go.
During the mornings, the case is filled with filled muffins and bagels, and there
is plenty of coffee and a host of teas to choose from.
On weekends, the case is transformed into a bountiful antipasto bar, featuring
hand-cured meats, cheeses and wonderfully marinated vegetables for you to
create your own Italian appetizer.
